Access Entertainment Network's website complements its 24-hour music video network. "Our goal in creating the Access Entertainment Network website is to introduce another network feature that enhances our audience's sense of being connected to the artists they embrace," said Bill Bernard, Access Entertainment Network president. The Wall Street Journal Launches Business Fare The Wall Street Journal Interactive Edition at http://wsj.com, has launched Business Fare, a comprehensive section focused on business travel, featuring a collection of news and information plus access to online resources such as flight, hotel and car-rental reservation services. "Interactive Journal readers tell us they travel extensively for business and appreciate our insightful coverage of travel news and trends. With Business Fare we expand that coverage and combine it with useful features focused on helping our highly mobile subscribers make the most of their time online and in transit," said Neil Budde, vice president and editor of The Wall Street Journal Interactive Edition. Investor's Business Daily Launches Innovative Changes Today's edition of Investor's Business Daily (IBD) premiered a bew look for the national business daily. IBD's changes are geared toward its growing audience of both business professionals and investors. "Most people don't have time to read extensive news commentary these days. We've figured out how to get the daily news to readers more efficiently...all the relevant facts, insights and bottom lines...in abbreviated formats," said Editor Wes Mann. "The new 'IBD's Top 10' front page feature prioritizes the day's top stories; 'To The Point' has over 100 news briefs organized by topics to save time." "No one should have to dig for answers to business or investing questions, and our format sees to that. This really is a new way of looking at the news. Learningstation.com and Infonautics Reach Custom Library Agreement The Learningstation.com (LSC), a subscription network for the education marketplace, has announced an agreement with Infonautics, Inc. to provide a custom on-line reference library service based upon Infonautics' flagship Electric Library service for use by LSC subscribers. The service, to be known as the Learningstation.com Reference.Center powered by Infonautics, will provide LSC subscribers with access to content geared to user-specific areas of interest. "Infonautics' exciting multimedia resources are a rich addition to the online products we offer to our subscribers in the K-12 and higher education markets," said Jim Pennington, Vice President and Co-founder of LSC. "The LSC Reference.Center offers a diversity of resources that will be beneficial to our users. We have had great demand for a high quality reference service over the past year, and we are pleased to be able to negotiate this agreement to meet the information needs of our subscribers. LSC has plans to launch over 20 other `thin-client' subscriber networks to serve vertical markets in the private sector. This agreement is the foundation on which Infonautics and LSC can develop additional services to meet those market needs." Wine Spectator Island of the Sharks Starting September 23rd, in "Island of the Sharks," Nova/PBS Online Adventures dives into the shark-infested waters of Costa Rica's Cocos Island for an up-close look at the undersea world of one of nature's most formidable oddities: the hammerhead shark. Website Lets You Read Bestsellers Online Silicon Valley-based BookBrowse has announced the launch of a unique new concept at their website.
