Teen-Net.Com to Launch Web Guide For Teens

Teen-Net.com, a website for teens, has marked its second anniversary with a re-design. Teen-Net's goal is to make surfing the Net much easier and enjoyable for teens by aggregating content daily from specially selected sites such as ESPN, SonicNet, and Eonline, making them aware of special Web events, and providing links to thousands of teen related sites, homepages, and photos in its twelve channels (Music, Sports, Movies, TV, Dating, Gamers, Teen Database, Fashion, Cool Sites, S.Y.M.O.N, Chat Zone, and S.O.S.).

Frank Maris, the Producer of Teen-Net, says, "Teens are the most neglected group on the Net. Not one of the top 25 sites frequented by teens was created exclusively for them," adding, "Enter the word "teen" in any search engine and the query will most likely result in an inordinate number of pornography sites."

Teen-Net will now provide a wealth of material to help teens deal with the many problems confronting them. With the assistance of prominent organizations such as The National Mental Heath Association, and The Partnership for a Drug Free America and others, Teen-Net allows teens to discover for themselves how to deal with difficult situations in a comfortable environment before seeking damaging alternatives. One of the ways Teen-Net is helping teens is by giving them their own forum where they can seek advice from professional organizations as well as their peers.

Sotheby's International Realty Debuts Newsstand Magazine

Sotheby's International Realty (SIR) has introduced its first newsstand magazine, Sotheby's International Realty Domain. Offering coverage of distinctive homes and related topics such as interior design and fine arts collecting, the magazine is targeted to readers with an interest in fine properties, regardless of their current level of involvement in the real estate market.

SIR has partnered with two Boston-based companies, Cadmus Custom Publishing and Spire, a division of Graphics Express, to create and distribute the publication. Cadmus is responsible for the editorial content, art direction and single-copy retail distribution of Domain, while Spire handles the production.

"With the introduction of Domain, we're responding to increased interest in property ownership, design and restoration, not only from our clients but those who share our enthusiasm for fine property and its preservation," said Stuart N. Siegel, president and managing director of SIR. "By presenting the unique qualities of exceptional properties and providing an overview of our current offerings worldwide, the magazine should serve as a valuable resource for a broad audience."

Domain contains in-depth articles contributed by writers with expertise in various topics covered by the magazine. Regular departments include "On the Block," covering upcoming Sotheby's auctions around the world; "Cornerstones," reporting recent developments in architecture and conservation; "Interiors;" "Collecting;" "Landscapes;" and "Restoration."
