"With the formation of the Editorial team, we have just scraped the surface. This makes Music Boulevard the only online music store with such a distinguished editor and editorial staff."

Bitzer is the co-founder of allstarmag.com, N2K's online music news magazine and has remained its editor since inception. Prior to joining N2K, Bitzer was the Senior Editor of Raygun Publishing in Los Angeles and has written for MTV Online and LA Weekly. Lightning Print Inc. and toExcel Offer Book-at-a-Time Service

Lightning Print Inc. (LPI), a subsidiary of Ingram Industries, and toExcel, a strategic unit of Kaleidoscope Software Inc., have announced a partnership which makes it possible for publishers to produce, market and distribute books one at a time. The new partnership links toExcel's pre-press technology and Internet marketing services with LPIs on demand printing and distribution services.

"We are pleased to be standing with LPI at the forefront of this exciting new paradigm of publishing," stated toExcel Founder and President, Richard Tam, from his San Jose corporate headquarters. "Through our partnership with LPI, we've created a winning, full-service platform whereby anybody can be a publisher. Internet Insider Email Publication "Adventive.com" Launches

Internet marketing guru John Audette has announced the advent of his new weekly e-mail publication, Adventive.com. In the premier edition he compares the phenomenon of culture in the U.S. as it's affected by the happenings within its capital or "Inside the Beltway", to the communications and information revolution, as represented by the Internet, with its own culture and way of doing things -- "Inside the Internet".

Adventive is a biology term that describes a species that is not native to, and not yet established in, an environment within which they find themselves. Audette believes that this is a perfect term in this context, stating "Human beings are not native to, nor have we had the time to adapt to, the new environment of the Internet."

The question that may come to mind immediately, "Why another Internet publication? Aren't we already drowning in information about all aspects of the Internet pumped out by pundits, speakers, authors, journalists and academics?" is answered by Audette as he introduces the publication in his first issue. "Oddly enough," he comments, "much of this information is produced by those who have never dipped a toe into the digital pond, other than as a casual user of e-mail and the Web. And while their information is often useful and insightful, very little of it represents an insider's point of view. Perhaps it would be useful to hear more from those working inside the industry, people like me."

Audette has worked on the front lines of the Internet every day for the last four years. Author of one of the first Internet marketing books "The WebStep Guide to Marketing & Sales via the Internet/WWW", he is currently the president and CEO of Multimedia Marketing Group, Inc., a major Internet marketing company. Audette also founded the I-Sales Discussion List (11,000 subscribers), which he still moderates, and the LinkExchange Discussion List (over 100,000 subscribers).

Content in Adventive.com includes commentary by Audette on "Adapting to the 'Net" (or "Reports from Inside the Internet"), book reviews, and reader input. Adventive.com is published Tuesday of every week. The publication is advertiser supported and subscriptions are free. To receive an introductory issue of the newsletter, send a message with keyword "ADVENTIVE" in the subject line to release@newsbureau.com To subscribe, send a blank message to join-adventive@list.mmgco.com.
