Wednesday, January 5, 2000 Time Magazine and Hearx Ltd. Form Marketing Partnership Paul A. Brown, M.D., Chairman of the Board of Hearx Ltd. has announced that Hearx has established a marketing partnership with Time magazine in connection with Time's introduction of a large-print newsweekly. Dr. Brown stated, "Since more than 28 million Americans suffer from hearing impairment and the majority of these patients are over age fifty with vision problems as well, there is an obvious opportunity for a cross marketing program of Time's new large-print magazine and our products." As part of this partnership, Hearx Ltd. will be promoting both Time Large and Time Regular in its network of hearing care centers and in customer mailings. Time Magazine will be including a special offer from Hearx to potential subscribers of Time Large and selected current subscribers of Time Magazine. Deborah Thompson, Marketing Director of Time Magazine, stated, "Time's mission is to help readers become informed and involved in the issues and events of the world around them. Time is thrilled to add to its family of editions this new large-type edition - and to have Hearx's help in making more and more people aware of this new publication."
