Alight, Inc. Announces Website for Full-Figured Women

With the mission to empower and enrich the lives of full-figured women, Alight, inc. has announced its formation with a $1.5 million dollar investment from RRE, a national venture capital firm based in New York. The company's website, alight.com, to be launched in the first quarter of 2000, will deliver a combination of content, community and commerce.

"alight.com is all about redefining the full-figured woman's experience," said Jon Langbert, President and Chief Operating Officer. "We will be the premier, full-service solution dedicated to providing health & fitness resources, fashion & beauty advice, emotional support, relationship guidance and personal & professional networking opportunities in an environment that celebrates plus-sized women. alight.com is the aspirational and inspirational on-line site full-figured women have long been seeking."

Jon Langbert, President and Chief Operating Officer, has six years of business start-up experience. His last position was President and Chief Operating Officer of Win-Stuff, Inc., a national operator of amusement equipment, which he co-founded in early 1998. He holds a B.B.A. in Finance with a minor in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Susan Sommers is the Vice President and Editor-in-Chief. Sommers has contributed to such on-line destinations as Women.com and Lookonline.com.
