Kate Bales Moulene Named Editor of U. Magazine

Kate Bales Moulene has been appointed Vice-President of Content for Colleges.com and Editor U. Magazine, it was announced by John Carrieri, the company's CEO and President. In the newly created position, Ms. Moulene will oversee the day-to-day operations of content and programming for all Colleges.com media properties, including the company website and U. Magazine.

``Kate Moulene is a well known creative executive within the Publishing and Entertainment industries, '' said Mr. Carrieri. ``Her eclectic industry experience makes her the ideal person to lead our efforts as we move forward with an ambitious slate of content and programming initiatives. In addition, Kate brings with her an extensive network she's developed during her successful media career.''

Prior to joining Colleges.com, Ms. Moulene served as the West Coast Bureau Chief of InStyle Magazine for four years. In addition to running the bureau, she appeared as a regular on-air guest contributor for the NBC Today Show and did a weekly on-air piece for E Entertainment Television. Before joining InStyle, Ms. Moulene was a contributing journalist for the International Herald Tribune based in Paris, France.

Colleges.com contains a``virtual campus'' through which website visitors can walk through the different buildings ranging from the Student Center, Classrooms, and Library, to the Sports Coliseum. Each building holds content and services applicable to that campus building. Colleges.com's U. Magazine, which is written by college students, has a circulation of 1.5 million.
