Investment.com has announced that it has signed an asset purchase agreement with Mutual Fund Review Inc. and Financial Player Inc. to acquire Mutual Fund Review magazine, Fund Counsel newsletter, fundcounsel.com website and various other assets for a combination of cash and stock. The company further announces that the editors of Mutual Fund Review, Levi Folk and Richard Webb, will be joining its fast-growing team in the position of executive producers. Mutual Fund Review and its sister publication, the French-language magazine La Revue des Fonds Mutuels, together reach a controlled circulation of 180,000 Canadian investors every quarter, including 10,000 paid subscribers. The Fund Counsel newsletter provides independent investors and financial advisors with monthly research into financial market movements and mutual fund performance. ``We are tremendously excited about this new venture,'' said Levi Folk. ``Publishing Mutual Fund Review under the Investment.com banner will create synergies that will benefit every aspect of Investment.com business.'' Mutual Fund Review, which will be renamed Investment.com Mutual Fund Review, is the second magazine in the Investment.com publishing stable, complementing Investment.com Magazine - the first issue of which is scheduled to be distributed in Canada next week with The Globe and Mail.
