Hotgames.com, acquired by FortuneCity in September 1999, delivers game reviews and information on computer games. Hotgames.com recorded almost 10 million page views in January 2000 Nieves joins Hotgames.com from GamePro.com, a division of IDG Publishing, where he served as Executive Editor. Known as `Scary Larry' in the online and offline game industry, Nieves is a well-respected authority and editorial voice among game connoisseurs globally. In his ten year career at IDG, Nieves was responsible for guiding editorial strategy both online and in the company's print publication, GamePro World Magazine, as well as securing content partnerships with CNN, Lycos, World Wrestling Federation and Blockbuster Video. At HotGames.com, Nieves will be responsible for continuing to build the site's brand and for shaping editorial strategy. He will also be involved in securing high-level distribution partnerships with major Internet portals and media companies.
