Posted on March 21, 2000

Robert Clark, former editor-in-chief of Dow Jones Investment Advisor magazine, has joined Morningstar as editor-in-chief and publisher of MorningstarAdvisor.com, an Internet site for financial professionals. Reporting to President Tim Armour, Clark will be responsible for building an editorial and advertising team to support MorningstarAdvisor.com, and will also serve as a key public spokesman for the site's community.

``We are proud to have one of the most well-known and respected editorial professionals in the financial planning industry to drive the site content,'' said Armour. ``Bob will be instrumental in making MorningstarAdvisor.com the epicenter of the best editorial, data, and tools available for the community of financial pros anywhere on the Web.''

During Clark's tenure as DJIA's editor-in-chief, the publication's circulation increased from 60,000 to 75,000. Previously, he was senior editor at Worth magazine where he was responsible for creating and editing the section for financial advisors. In addition, he created the Worth Guide to Mutual Fund Investing, the Best Financial Advisors in America listing, and headed Worth's weekly television show on CNBC. He also worked seven years for Financial Planning magazine, the last two as editor-in-chief.
