Versaware Inc. has announced that it is adding new books and research tools to its funkandwagnalls.com website. FunkandWagnalls.com currently provides users with an unabridged 29-volume encyclopedia, the Random House Webster's College Dictionary with over 165,000 entries, world news and search tools. The site has over 325,000 registered users.

The enhanced FunkandWagnalls.com site will include new multimedia tools, new books to the research center, resources to assist students in writing term papers, a monthly news section called ``Hot Topics,'' new search functions and weekly updated content. The site will provide users with over 10,000 multimedia items including new photos, sounds, animations and eventually video. New books added to the research center include an interactive World Atlas and the Roget's 21st Century Thesaurus. In addition, the site will have a new design, increased speed and search capabilities.

Tina Ravitz, Chief Operating Officer of Versaware Inc., commented on the new features, ``The added resources on FunkandWagnalls.com will enable users to add dynamic elements to their research and homework assignments and complete them more quickly. Best of all, the website is free to all users.''
