Posted on March 31, 2000

Alan Mruvka, Filmtown Entertainment CEO and founder of E! Entertainment Television, has announced that he will launch Celebstreet.com, a new entertainment web portal. The entertainment and e-commerce website, which will launch April 5, will feature gossip and news about movies, television, music, fashion and celebrities. Visitors to Celebstreet.com will be able to view and download movie trailers, music videos, video clips, music files; read the site's original editorial content; participate in online chats and entertainment memorabilia auctions; and shop at the site's online store.

``This is my next E! Entertertainment Television,'' said Mruvka. ``The Internet today is where cable television was 16 years ago when I created E!.''

Pamela Anderson Lee will ``flip the switch'' that puts Celebstreet.com live on the Internet at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 5 at the Celebstreet.com booth (number 5600) at the Spring Internet World trade show at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The site will divide its content into seven main sections: Moviestreet, Musicstreet, Televisionstreet, Fashionstreet, Auctionstreet, Celebritystreet, Camstreet and Shoppingstreet. These sections will contain original content, as well as area-specific content from partners such as TV Guide, The Weather Channel, Global Fulfillment and EarthCam.com.

``Even with its phenomenal recent growth, Internet use for entertainment purposes is still in its infancy,'' said Joe Nittolo Celebstreet.com Executive Vice President. With our mix of content and categories, we will grow Celebstreet.com into the same kind of content powerhouse that E! has become.``
