PC Magazine Introduces New Section: 'Internet Business'

PC Magazine will launch ``Internet Business,'' a new section premiering April 18, that will assist the magazine's business-oriented readers. The section will appear bi-monthly.

``It has become abundantly clear that e-business has transformed the corporate environment and has become the driving force in the new economy,'' said PC Magazine Senior Vice President/Publisher Peter J. Longo. ``The new section is tailored to the discussion and review of today's fast-moving business environment from the perspective of our technology-focused, Internet- driven economy. Internet Business gives a view into the technology selections that companies have made and how these choices have impacted their businesses.''

Each edition of Internet Business will contain a feature story that takes an in-depth look at a major trend in e-business, one or more case studies, metrics about the e-business marketplace and a guest columnist. April 18's debut section leads with ``B2B E-Commerce: It's Not Just About Success, It's About Survival,'' which explores ways for a company to increase revenue opportunities and to capture and maintain an edge over competitors through supply-chain management.

``PC Magazine readers are on the cutting edge of a new frontier, representing those planning and implementing their companies' new e-business strategies,'' Longo added. ``Internet Business will be valued by the key demographic group that is seeking technology choices to suit their business strategies.''
