E*Trade Launches Print Magazine

E*Trade Group, Inc. has announced the launch of E*Trade: The Magazine, a quarterly publication distributed to E*Trade customers, which provides ideas and information on money management issues. E*Trade: The Magazine is designed to complement E*Trade's existing web information sources, including The Knowledge Center and Destination E*Trade(SM).

The first issue of `E*Trade: The Magazine, being distributed this week, contains articles such as ``The Five Pillars of Wisdom,'' exploring the topic areas of saving, budgeting, investing, retirement planning and estate planning. The issue also offers portfolio allocation advice.

``E*Trade: The Magazine is another valuable tool that offers customers simple access to practical information and useful tips on the basics of investing,'' said Michael Sievert, vice president of marketing, E*Trade Group, Inc. ``E*Trade is empowering customers through technology to take charge of their financial futures, enabling them to make wise investment decisions that meet individual needs.''

The full-color, glossy magazine will supplement E*Trade's existing online sources of information including the E*Trade Knowledge Center, which focuses on a variety of investor education topics, from simple discussions of stocks and bonds to complex investing strategies. E*Trade: The Magazine, like the Knowledge Center, utilizes information from various financial education sources including financial writers. Future plans for E*Trade: The Magazine include personalized, segmented special sections targeted to different audiences, such as active investors or buy-and-hold investors, as well as quick facts and useful tips for all investors. E*Trade: The Magazine will also feature stories on how people are using technology to become financially self-empowered.
