Computerworld Forms Content Partnership With ebizChronicle.com

Computerworld will provide its audience with business-to-business ecommerce news and information through a content partnership with ebizChronicle.com, an online daily information source. Through the partnership, the two organizations will share their content, and organize and host related events. The first results of the content partnership will be featured in Computerworld's May 8th issue in the form of a ``roundtable'' debate on Information Technology (IT) security in the Internet age, organized jointly by the two organizations.

``While Computerworld is the leading information source for IT Leaders, we recognize that in today's new economy, our audience has increasing needs for deeper information in certain 'niche' areas,'' said Kevin Fogarty, business editor of Computerworld. ``Content partnerships, such as the one with ebizChronicle.com, enable us to offer our audience access to the best source for focused coverage, while maintaining the exacting editorial standards upon which Computerworld built its reputation.''

Through their partnership, Computerworld and ebizChronicle.com will share editorial content. All ebizChronicle.com-originated material will be reviewed by Computerworld editors, with published content approved according to Computerworld's editorial standards. In this partnership, Computerworld will retain its editorial independence and will publish only information that its editors believe is relevant to its audience.

``We are delighted to join Computerworld in a content partnership,'' said Sarwar Kashmeri, CEO and Publisher of ebizChronicle.com. ``As a long-time reader of Computerworld the synergies were obvious as soon as we launched our daily -- they were running on one side of the e-biz track, and we had just started on the other side. The convergence will be a powerful tool giving both sets of readers the most cogent and just-in-time information.''

Launched in December 1999, ebizChronicle.com is an online daily aimed at corporate executives responsible for implementing ebusiness strategies. ebizChronicle.com provides daily coverage of ebusiness stories, relating to digital exchanges and markets; wireless and other enabling technologies; privacy and security and the other drivers of the new economy.
