BeachFreak.com Launches Beach Information Website

BeachFreak.com has announced the launch of its resource for beach travelers. The site will initially cover destinations in the United States, Bermuda and the Caribbean, with international expansion planned.

``BeachFreak is for anyone who loves the beach, but wants an easy way to find information on different beach destinations, events, guide books, summer reading, and more,'' according to Scott Sherwood, BeachFreak.com President. ``We bring the promise of the beach experience to the fingertips of those online. BeachFreak will be to the beach-goer ... what the Motley Fool is to online investors,'' Sherwood added.

Dedicated to those who are ``crazy for shore,'' BeachFreak.com features a searchable database of beach destinations in the United States, Bermuda and the Caribbean. The site also reports on beach-oriented consumer stories, such as the annual list of America's top 20 beaches released every Memorial Day weekend by Dr. Stephen P. Leatherman (aka ``Dr. Beach''), Director of Florida's International University Coastal Research and International Hurricane Center. The destinations on Dr. Beach's list are linked to more specific informational links via BeachFreak.com.

``BeachFreak.com will launch a Beach Jobs Marketplace on June 21st, the first official day of summer. This is where potential beach employers and employees can easily find one another online, thereby benefiting beach tourism nationwide,'' Sherwood said.
