Web Resource for Court Reporters Launches

WordWave, Inc. has launched ReporterCentral.com, an online resource for court reporters, broadcast captioners and students. ReporterCentral.com is sponsored by WordWave's LegaLink and VITAC divisions, providers of litigation support and broadcast captioning services. ReporterCentral.com features news, information on new technologies in court reporting and captioning, reference materials and career opportunities.
Gary Robson is the Webmaster and editor-in-chief for ReporterCentral.com. He is the author of three books and more than 50 articles on court reporting and captioning. Robson has been involved in developing new standards for the industry including Legal XML, which enables searchable legal data and CEA - EIA 708b, the new standard for captioning digital television.
``There was a clear need on the Web for a comprehensive resource for court reporters and broadcast captioners,'' said Robson. ``LegaLink created a task force to address this problem and decided to develop ReporterCentral.com as an all-inclusive site to help captioners and reporters do their jobs better and more easily.''
