WorkingWoman.com Goes Online

WorkingWoman.com has launched phase one of its online center, targeting career-committed women. The site offers tools for entrepreneurial and professional women to search for jobs, start a company, conduct business, support human resources and marketing needs through alliances with several companies including Barnes & Noble.com, HotJobs.com, Nolo.com, NowDocs, Stamps.com and others.

``We have identified the best examples of companies with the right services, products and tools for this dynamic audience,'' said Kay Koplovitz, CEO, Working Woman Network. ``We hold the expertise on what is most valuable to these women, and are using that knowledge to create a complete centralized Internet marketplace to help them advance competitively in the digital economy.''

Koplovitz indicated that subsequent rollouts for WorkingWoman.com over the next several weeks will introduce a connection to women's associations and related events, additional partners, access to content from Working Woman and Working Mother magazines, and advice and support covering a variety of business-related areas. This fall, WorkingWoman.com will introduce the Women's Business Exchange, an e-marketplace powered by PurchasePro.com.

``As the only business information company actively serving this segment of the workforce, we know that women business owners use technology at a rate at least equal to men in business. In fact, a recent sampling of Working Woman readers shows they have been online for an average of 5 years, and want fast, direct solutions to propel their businesses forward,'' said Koplovitz, who also serves as Chair of the National Women's Business Council.

WorkingWoman.com is the online business center of Working Woman Network, a multimedia resource for businesswomen. WWN provides solution-based products, services and information to professional and entrepreneurial businesswomen. WWN properties also include Working Woman and Working Mother magazines, the National Association for Female Executives, a conference division, Businesswomen's Research Institute and The Business Women's Network.
