The Source Enterprises Launches Hip-Hop Portal

The Source, has announced the launch of its new hip-hop portal, TheSource.com. The site features music, style, daily news, sports, politics, culture, shopping, and other original content. At launch, the site will feature exclusive footage and behind the scenes coverage from The Source Hip-Hop Music Awards 2000, providing interviews with performers and presenters as well as an inside look at the show as it unfolded.

In addition to the Awards information, the site features ten separate sections that include Hot Picks, Music, Sports, Video Games, Skedules, Lifestyle, Hot Flix, TV, Daily News and The One-Stop (The Source Cyberstore). The music section currently includes interviews with LL Cool J, Lil' Kim, Busta Rhymes, De La Soul and others. Also on the site is True 92, The Source's radio station on the web, and The Source Nation, which features free email, webpages and chat rooms.
