MacintoshDeveloper.com features forums, news, tutorials, and syntax guides. Several programming languages are covered, including C, MacPerl, AppleScript and REALBasic. Created and edited by Chilton Webb, a professional Macintosh software developer himself, the site was created for programmers, by programmers. ``I built MacintoshDeveloper.com because I needed something like it,'' Webb explained. ``And when I went looking for an independent technical Macintosh resource, I couldn't find anything that really that filled the bill. So I ended up creating MacintoshDeveloper.com.'' Dr. Dobb's Journal editor-in-chief Jonathan Erickson added that ` `DDJ has covered Macintosh development since the beginning. In fact, former DDJ editors were members of the original Macintosh development team. MacintoshDeveloper.com continues in our longstanding tradition of providing must-have technical information for all programmers.'' Dr. Dobb's Journal magazine a division of CMP Media Inc., is now it its 25th year of publication. Dr. Dobb's Journal is based in San Mateo, California.
