Posted on September 18, 2000

Tradeweave, a QRS company, has announced the launch of Tradeweave Insight, an online magazine for apparel industry professionals. Throughout the upcoming fashion season, Tradeweave Insight will provide daily coverage of the New York, London, Milan and Paris collections. Our features will include analysis from ESP/Ellen Sideri Partnership Inc. and news updates and video programming from Global Fashion Village. In addition to runway reporting, the new magazine contains company news, financial updates, trend analysis and research, columns and features.

``Tradeweave customers have expressed a need for easily accessible, current, authoritative information related to their specific business activities,'' said Katherine Rabin, editor-in-chief of Tradeweave Insight. ``In response, we've developed a comprehensive online resource that provides retail professionals with all the information they want -- and maybe something unexpected -- delivered in a format that works for them.''

New columns on Tradeweave Insight include In Step, a column focused on footwear that tracks news, gossip and trend directions for the shoe industry and About Face, a column covering the beauty business. These features join retail analysis from Maggie Gilliam; weekly gossip columns from Paris, Milan, New York and Los Angeles; retailer interviews and new-product coverage. Stock quotes, market updates from CBS Marketwatch and regularly updated news from Reuters have also been added. Tradeweave Insight's industry directory offers information resources for retailers and vendors, and its Events Calendar tracks trade shows and conventions.

In addition to its apparel industry magazine, Tradeweave is also introducing Insight coverage of food, HBC (Health and Beauty Care) and general merchandise for grocery industry professionals. The magazine will feature trends, strategic merchandising moves, new product information and daily news. Tradeweave is an online marketplace for the retail industry.
