Expanding on its print guides, internet cool guide, Inc. has launched internetcoolguide.com, a website with website reviews, editorial content, and tools and features. The sites are handpicked by internet cool guide's team of editors based on content, design and user friendliness. Its guidebook series have sold more than 50,000 copies to date. Internet Cool Guide 2001 will make its debut on bookshelves in October.

``Our mission is a simple one -- to point users directly to the best of the Internet by providing fresh, real-world advice on everything from the hottest Web sites to secret surfing tips,'' says Perry Cohagan, President and CEO of internet cool guide, Inc. ``In less than a year, our guidebooks have become the most trusted guides to the Internet, and we're thrilled to extend our expert advice to an online audience with the launch of internetcoolguide.com.''

``Our goal is to make internetcoolguide.com the perfect complement to our print guides, as well as an indispensable resource for Web novices, pros, and everyone in between,'' said Rula Razek, editor in chief of internet cool guide, Inc. ``We think the site will surprise anyone who thinks they know what's out there and will become as vital a part of the Internet experience as the sites it covers.''

With offices in New York, Munich, and London, internet cool guide, Inc. has over 20 employees. Its executive team is led by President and CEO Perry Cohagan, a former investment banker at Credit Suisse First Boston's Technology Group, and Editor in Chief and Creative Director Rula Razek, who also writes USA Weekend's ``Where on the Web'' column. Formed in partnership with teNeues Publishing Company, internet cool guide, Inc. is a privately held company with second round financing led by InternetMediaHouse.com AG, based in Munich, Germany.

Update: The Internet Cool Guide site is no longer available.
