``With 2001 right around the corner, I can think of no place I'd rather be than at the helm of SCIFI.com's Science Fiction Weekly, the genre's most trusted e-zine,'' said Scott Edelman. ``I look forward to delivering the best in science fiction journalism.''

Prior to joining SCIFI.com's Science Fiction Weekly, Edelman served as the editor at Science Fiction Age for eight years.
