Experts, a free question and answer service that enables people to find information or share their knowledge on a special topic. The service competes with numerous Internet question and answer services already in existence including Abuzz.com, ExpertCentral.com, Answers.com, Keen.com and many others. A list of links to more expert sites can be found at: http://www.writerswrite.com/research/experts.htm. ``Yahoo! Experts has created a community that allows people to connect with others and get an answer from an expert user about nearly anything,'' said Mark Hull, senior producer, Yahoo! Inc. ``With Yahoo!'s user base of 156 million people, our users are bound to include experts on hundreds of topics so that even the most obscure questions can be answered.'' Users can sign up as an expert on Yahoo Experts by browsing through a directory of categories and filling out a form explaining their expertise and background. The user profiles of each expert include this background information as well as a complete archive of the responses each expert has offered and ratings given by other users. The ``expert'' users are prioritized based on the ratings they have received.
