She will oversee Internet World magazine and InternetWorld.com. Most recently Dobson was publisher of Information Week where she led a 90-person staff. Prior to that, she served as publisher of Scientific American. Dobson was also the U.S. Edition manager of The Economist for three years. ``Internet World magazine is proud to be adding such a publishing talent to its leadership,'' said Tom Kuczynski, VP of Penton's Internet World Media group. ``Kate Dobson's track record for managing and growing major media brands is a perfect fit for us. We're confident that, under her direction, Internet World will continue to execute its strategic growth initiatives and advance in its mission to lead the global Internet market."
