Tribune Ventures Invests In MarketResearch.com

Tribune Ventures, the strategic investment unit of Tribune Company, has announced that it has invested in MarketResearch.com, an online marketplace for industry intelligence. MarketResearch.com, based in New York City, provides business decision-makers with access to industry research with content from over 350 providers.

``Tribune Ventures opened its New York office this summer to better capitalize on East Coast investment opportunities that complement its core businesses,'' said David Kniffin, Tribune Ventures vice president. ``We believe that the products and services offered by MarketResearch.com fill an important need in the marketplace as business decision makers worldwide search for a source of credible, accurate and timely information on the markets they serve. Tribune plans to leverage our experience in creating global media brands to ensure that MarketResearch.com continues to aggressively expand its business.''
