WSJ.com has steadily attracted new subscribers since beginning to charge in the fall of 1996. This is about 1/3 the circulation of the print edition of The Wall Street Journal, which has a daily circulation of about 1.8 million. ``From the beginning it was our intention to build a timely news resource that readers would find valuable enough to pay for,'' said Neil F.
