GenomeWeb.com has launched a news service which is focused on the business and technology of genomics in pharmaceutical research, biotechnology, clinical applications and agriscience. The home page features the day's top genomics industry news updated throughout the business day. In addition, GenomeWeb.com offers specialty news channels.

GenomeWeb.com is operated by New York-based GenomeWeb LLC, a growing print and electronic provider of news and information worldwide. In addition to GenomeWeb.com, GenomeWeb publishes the monthly magazine Genome Technology and the weekly newsletter BioInform. GenomeWeb's customers include research enterprises in the pharmaceutical, agriscience, biotechnology, academic and government sectors -- as well as suppliers of information, software, IT services and analytical instrumentation to life science researchers.

GenomeWeb's President is Harry Greenwald, formerly chief financial officer at Waters Information Services, at Telecommunications Reports and at Venture Economics.
