Timothy Trickett, Dr. Dobb's Journal Publisher said, ``We've long respected .EXE for its editorial quality and recognition in the U.K. market. We're honored that Centaur has asked Dr. Dobb's to service the talented readership of their respected publication. This deal will not only benefit advertisers by further extending DDJ's reach into Europe, but ensures that the professional programmers reading .EXE will continue to receive the engaging, hands-on, technical content they need to create and maintain their company's e-business initiatives.'' According to Dr. Dobb's Journal editor-in-chief Jonathan Erickson, back issues and articles of .EXE will be hosted on the Dr. Dobb's Journal website. ``Software is driving the future,'' he explained, ``and technical information about software is critical to every organization's success. By consolidating .EXE's content with DDJ's editorial archives and related online information, programmers have at hand a more powerful resource.'' Related Links: CMP Media, Inc.
