iExalt Completes Acquisition of Northwest Christian Journal

iExalt, Inc., a Christian products and services company, has announced that it has acquired the Northwest Christian Journal, a Christian newspaper based in Seattle. The newspaper will be folded into iExalt's Christian Times operation. The acquisition represents Christian Times' first regional paper outside of California and increases its monthly circulation to 200,000.

``The Northwest Christian Journal is a profitable operation with a strong client base and positive reputation in the area,'' said Donald W. Sapaugh, iExalt's chairman and chief executive officer. ``This acquisition strengthens Christian Times' position as the largest independent Christian newspaper in North America and enhances our market share along the West Coast. We plan to build on this foundation and expand into new markets nationwide by acquiring existing Christian newspapers and launching new ones.''

Founded in 1990, the Northwest Christian Journal is published monthly with a circulation of 26,000. The publication covers local, national and world Christian news, and local Christian events. It is distributed primarily in evangelical and Protestant churches and Christian bookstores throughout the Puget Sound area.

According to Christian Times' publisher, Lamar Keener, the publication's name will be changed to Northwest Christian Times. The Seattle staff will continue to serve in sales, editorial and distribution roles, but production will be centralized and standardized at the Christian Times corporate office in San Diego.

``We continue to grow iExalt through strategic acquisitions that complement our core businesses,'' Sapaugh added. ``These additions will allow us to promote our entire line of products and services to the target audience by enabling us to better reach the Christian community.''

Headquartered in Houston, iExalt, Inc. was formed to provide products and services for families, businesses and the Christian community. The company's strategy is to acquire, develop and manage a large channel of media (print, radio and Internet) in order to leverage its products and services in a cost-effective manner.
