Adam.com Teams with Brooks/Cole Publishing

adam.com, Inc., an originator and integrator of health information, has announced a new alliance with Brooks/Cole, a science textbook publisher for higher education. Under the agreement, Brooks/Cole will link adam online anatomy (AOA) to biology and anatomy & physiology texts. In addition, Brooks/Cole will place AOA demos on selected websites, as well as distribute adam.com's CD-ROM titles. adam online anatomy v1.0 is a digital database of more than 20,000 anatomical structures within fully dissectible male and female bodies.

``We're confident adam online anatomy will deliver added value to Brooks/Cole's popular biology publications,'' said Richard Hinrichs, adam.com's Director of eLearning. ``Students in health sciences and pre-med programs everywhere will benefit from content that is AOA-energized.''

``We're pleased to be working with adam.com to deliver the most innovative interactive content in the world to a diverse audience of educators,'' said Susan Badger, President and CEO of the Wadsworth Group, parent of Brooks/Cole Publishing. ``Now with anytime access to adam online anatomy's interactive tools, professors and students who rely on Brooks/Cole have remarkable new ways to explore human anatomy.''
