Litraweb LLC, a provider of ebook publishing services to foreign publishers, has announced the launch of three ebook stores within its corporate website. Litraweb offers a large collection of ebook editions of contemporary books in Spanish, French nd German currently available for purchase.

The 300 ebooks currently offered for sale span a broad range of fiction and non-fiction genres and styles. Nearly 500 additional titles will be added to the catalogs of the three ebook stores in coming months. Over 30 publishers in six countries are participating in Litraweb’s ebook program, including such companies as Wilhelm Heyne Verlag and Ediciones B.

“Litraweb is an ebook pioneer,” Robert Fletcher, CEO, stated. “We were the first to address the market for ebooks in Spanish, French and German. We developed secure copyright-protected distribution so that books in other languages would be available to readers who might otherwise have access only to ebooks in English.”

Litraweb works with established book publishers, literary agents and authors to produce ebook editions of works that they have published in print. The company provides an end-to-end solution, including preparation of ebook source files, conversion to popular ebook formats, hosting on secure servers, and distribution through its network of retail partners using various DRM technologies.

Based in New York, Litraweb developed its technology and services based on input gathered from hundreds of publishers in Paris, Munich, Frankfurt, Leipzig, Madrid, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, London, Los Angeles, and New York over a two year period. The company was founded in 1998 as Aerrius.com LLC.
