BlueLight.com, a Kmart funded Internet service provider and shopping website, and American Media Inc., publisher of the National Enquirer and National Enquirer Online, have announced the debut of their co-branded newsletter National Enquirer Gossip from BlueLight.com. The free email newsletter delivers celebrity news and gossip to a user's email in-box twice a week.

``We're thrilled to tap into the more than 12.1 million people who read the National Enquirer each week. The demographic of BlueLight.com shoppers and National Enquirer readers complement each other greatly,'' said Mark H. Goldstein, CEO of BlueLight.com.

``The relationship between National Enquirer and BlueLight.com provides a terrific vehicle to introduce millions of people to electronic content from the National Enquirer,'' said Philip H. Kearney, Vice President of New Media for American Media Incorporated. ``Every week an audience eagerly awaits the print edition of the National Enquirer and millions more will be thrilled with the best celebrity news available via email updates from the leading source for celebrity news.''

BlueLight.com will introduce The National Enquirer BlueLight Gossip Email to BlueLight.com visitors, Kmart shoppers and National Enquirer readers with a marketing campaign that kicks off in November. The offline and online campaign will feature in-store displays at Kmart's 2,100 retail locations nationwide, a direct mail campaign, a banner advertising campaign and promotion throughout BlueLight.com.
