F&W Publications Launches Artist's Sketchbook Magazine

F&W Publications, publishers of The Artist's Magazine, have announced the launch of Artist's Sketchbook, a new magazine that aims to show people how to discover the artist within them. The premier issue is now on newsstands now. The magazine was created by the editors of The Artist's Magazine, which has a circulation of 220,000.

``The magazine serves as your personal guide to discovering the artist buried inside you,'' says Artist's Sketchbook editor Sandra Carpenter. ``I believe we all have creativity in us. Even if you think you don't have an artistic bone in your body or swear that you can't draw a straight line, you can tap into your artistic side. It's just a matter of discovering what makes you tick artistically.''

Some of the topics covered in the magazine include using a Polaroid camera to make a visual journal, finding time in your busy schedule, making your next get-togehter with friends a creativity party, tips for improving your drawing skills, creative retreats and finding a special place in your home for your creative work. The articles contain advice from experts in the creativity field, including Julia Cameron, Eric Maisel, Jeanne Carbonetti and Tera Leigh.
