Cricket Stories Featured on KidsEdge.com

Cricket Magazine Group has announced it has joined forces with KidsEdge.com, a new family Internet destination that provides personalized learning for kids ages 3-10, and feedback and tools for the adults. Cricket Magazine Group has published children's magazines for more than 25 years, including Babybug, Ladybug, Click, Spider, Muse, Cicada and Cricket. Cricket will provide KidsEdge.com with stories and poems for each age group in ``Cricket Corner,'' activities and games from the Cricket family of magazines, and Ladybug's ``Parent's Companion,'' which will be accessible each month on ParentsEdge.com.

The partnership will allow KidsEdge to offer educational content from the Cricket family. This content joins the educational games and activities already on KidsEdge.com which have been developed with the guidance of authorities in education and key state standards from around the nation. KidsEdge.com also offers expert advice, resources and tools for adults through it support communities (ParentsEdge.com, GrandparentsEdge.com, and soon, TeachersEdge.com).

Knowledge Kids Network, headquartered in Los Angeles, is a Knowledge Universe company that provides media-based educational products and services to kids and their families. The company's first product is KidsEdge.com, an Internet destination for families with children ages 3-10, which features the Cricket Magazine Group content. The Cricket Magazine Group is part of Carus Publishing, which is based in Peru, Illinois.
