Under the terms of the agreement, eBay's users will be provided with access to Themestream's library of enthusiast content, which covers personal interest categories, such as sports, travel, and parenting. Additionally, Themestream will provide its user base with direct access to live eBay listings. Themestream links, text boxes and ads will appear on hundreds of category, theme and promotional pages throughout eBay. Users can click through to Themestream to access themed articles and enthusiast content, and receive email newsletters. This means that if an eBay user is interested in gardening equipment, for example, she can access articles about gardening on Themestream. Additionally, if a Themestream user is reading an article about camping, they can click over to eBay listings for camping equipment. ``This relationship is a perfect fit, because both Themestream and eBay share a common goal: to enable our customers to exchange information and goods around topics in which they share a passion,'' said Daniel McCarthy, president and chief executive officer at Themestream. ``Now eBay users interested in collectibles, antiques, sports memorabilia or thousands of other topics will be able to gain instant access to Themestream's rich content. In addition, Themestream members will benefit from eBay listings that perfectly match their hobbies and passions.'' ``eBay's mission is to constantly enhance the online trading experience of our members,'' said Jeff Jordan, senior vice president of eBay U.S. ``This new marketing and content relationship provides eBay's dynamic trading community of nearly 19 million users with easy and direct access to Themestream's extensive resource of informative material on everything from golf to gardening.''
