Under the agreement, GiantChair.com will convert its distribution clients' titles from PDF format into eBooks using Texterity's automated TextCafe service. Texterity will provide automated conversion of existing PDF files into OEB (Open eBook), and will also create versions for the Microsoft Reader, Rocket eBook, and Gemstar Softbook. Texterity's services provide solutions for the automated conversion of existing content into XML, HTML, eBook, Wireless, and Print. GiantChair.com distributes several noted independent publishers, including New York's Arcade Publishing and Seven Stories Press, Boston's Zoland Books, and several others. Cory McCloud, CEO of GiantChair.com stated, ``By partnering with Texterity, we can achieve our goal of fully automating the entire process of book production, including conversion, ecommerce, and fulfillment.
