McGraw-Hill Professional Announces Alliance With DigitalOwl

McGraw-Hill Professional, a unit of McGraw-Hill Education, announced it has formed an alliance with DigitalOwl, a digital rights management company. Through the alliance, a selection of McGraw-Hill business, computing and technical reference titles is available for purchase and digital delivery via the McGraw-Hill ebookstore and DigitalOwl's network of business, finance and career vertical websites, such as Career.com, CareerNet.com and EmployMax.com, as well as general books sites, such as ReadGoodStuff.com and AlphaCraze.com.

``Our alliance with DigitalOwl dramatically strengthens our ability to reach professionals with our business and reference content,'' said Robert Bolick, vice president of New Business Development for McGraw-Hill Professional. ``We selected DigitalOwl for four reasons: excellent consumer experience, seamless DRM protection, superior support for the lion's share of the handheld device market, and the ability to quickly deliver ebook sales revenue back to us.''

``We are pleased to provide a valuable ebook marketing and distribution channel for McGraw-Hill Professional,'' said Kirstie Chadwick, DigitalOwl CEO and President. ``McGraw-Hill Professional's premier selection of ebook titles delivers the professional reference information our network of vertical sites requires to support the growing demands of its user communities.''
