Congressional Quarterly Launches New Website

Congressional Quarterly is launching a new website that will provide continuously updated news and analysis on Congress, plus CQ insights on the people, events and ideas that make up the Capitol Hill community.
The editorial features of CQ.com include:
- Midday Update -- a daily news bulletin from Capitol Hill by CQ reporters, posted at 2 p.m. each weekday afternoon. Visitors to CQ.com can also sign up for free email delivery of the Midday Update.
- The Scoop by Derek Willis -- a continuously updated column of news, insider tips and links to political resources on the Web. CQ staff writer Derek Willis is an expert on campaign finance, computer-assisted journalism and online information gathering.
- Top Story -- The day's top breaking news story from Capitol Hill.
- What's New at the Q -- A regular feature highlighting stories and special reports from CQ publications, plus book accepts and new releases from CQ Press.
- Capitol Hill Jobs -- Job openings in member and committee offices, provided by CQ's House Action Reports.
Congressional Quarterly Inc.'s product line includes: CQ Weekly, CQ Daily Monitor, The CQ Researcher, Campaign Insider, Governing, Campaigns & Elections, CQ Press, CQ.com On Congress and more. The new CQ.com home page will be supported by advertising sales and will enable visitors to apply for free trials of all CQ publications and services.
