Times Mirror Magazines Becomes Time4 Media

Time Inc.'s Times Mirror Magazines, a publisher of men's-oriented special interest magazines, has unveiled a new name -- ``Time4 Media'' announced Jason E. Klein, president and chief executive officer of Time4 Media. The new name, effective immediately, will begin appearing in the June issues of the group's titles. Time4 Media is also unveiling a new umbrella theme: ``Make Time For You.''

``Time4 Media has more than 50 million readers who find time for their passion -- activities like golf, skiing, surfing and home improvement,'' said Klein. ``The Time4 Media name embodies the spirit of these readers while linking our titles with our new parent company, Time Inc., and providing continuity to our previous name, Times Mirror Magazines.''

Time4 Media is the publisher of 18 consumer titles and five trade publications, including such titles as Popular Science, Golf Magazine, Field & Stream, Ski, This Old House magazine, Yachting and TransWorld Skateboarding. The titles are organized into seven groups: Golf Magazine Properties; The Outdoor Company; Popular Science Properties; Mountain Sports Media; The Marine Group; This Old House magazine and the TransWorld Teen Group. Time4 Media has a corporate sales and marketing team led by John Young, vice president, corporate sales, in conjunction with John Tebeau, director of corporate sales, and Bruce Revman, director of corporate marketing. The new corporate website located at www.time4.com provides links to all of the Time4 Media properties.
