Posted on March 30, 2001

Music.com Magazine from Music.com and Milor Entertainment Group debuts on newsstands on Monday, April 2, 2001. The magazine provides news, reviews, and information about the latest music and the controversies associated with today's music technology. 250,000 copies will be distributed nationwide.

``Music.com Magazine integrates the deep and non-linear approach to content on the internet with outstanding graphics, photography, art and a variety of written forms--from cool cut-lines to think pieces--that are presented more elegantly in print. We cover all the new technologies with a lifestyle-oriented `behind the music' approach--giving consumers the best of all worlds,'' said Michael Fagien, Publisher of Music.com Magazine. ``Our goal is to create a magazine that provides a dynamic, edgy, and controversial view of how today's music culture and technology mix.''

Each issue of Music.com Magazine comes with a companion multimedia CD -- called Disc Space -- containing a wide array of music playing and listening software. Disc Space also includes videos, music and links to Music.com with access to online content and updates of the magazine articles.

Among the major stories in the premiere issue of Music.com Magazine is an in-depth look at Hate Music titled ``Hate Rhymes: The portrayal of Violence and Rage in music. Have we gone too Far?''. The story looks at everyone from Eminem and Marilyn Manson to Elton John and Jimi Hendrix, from Alice Cooper to Johnny Cash and Duke Ellington. Other editorial highlights from the premiere issue of Music.com Magazine include a look at the Beatles latest book and music collection, fans & fanatics, new music features, coverage of the music media, "Tech Spec" -- a look at the latest music space gadgets, and more.

Music.com Magazine is a joint venture between Music.com, Inc. and Milor Entertainment Group with headquarters in Boca Raton, Florida. The premiere Spring issue will have a distribution of 250,000. The magazine launches as a quarterly with plans to go monthly in 2002. The cover price is U.S. $4.99.
