Hachette Filipacchi Magazines, the publisher of ELLE and 18 other titles in the U.S., announced a collaboration with Alloy Online, Inc., a teen-focused media and direct marketing company, to develop editorial content and technology for ELLEgirl.com. ELLEgirl.com will be an international online destination for fashion and beauty targeted to teens.

ELLEgirl.com is designed to complement the soon-to-be introduced ELLE Girl magazine. ELLEgirl.com will provide an interactive community where teens from different cities, states, countries and continents can explore and communicate with each other about the latest global style and beauty trends.

``ELLE is a strong global brand that represents authority on fashion and beauty,'' said Jack Kliger, president and CEO of Hachette Filipacchi Magazines and chairman of Lagardere Active North America. ``As we extend ELLE to the youth market, we're truly pleased to work closely with Alloy, an expert in the online teen community arena.''

Alloy, a media and direct marketing company focused on Generation Y, offers services through which teens can interact, share information, and explore content. Alloy Online's model is centered on the Web and is complemented by the Alloy catalog and weekly e-zine, the CCS Website and catalog, and AlloyGirl Magazine. Alloy Online reaches more than 10 million individuals per month.

``We're excited to be involved in the anticipated launch of ELLEgirl.com,'' stated Matt Diamond, CEO & Co-founder Alloy Online, Inc. ``Alloy's expertise in technology and outstanding editorial direction will enable ELLEgirl.com to provide teens around the world with the best information on the subjects they are most interested in.''
