Friday, May 25, 2001 Netscape Launches Netbusiness Magazine Netscape Communications, a subsidiary of America Online, Inc., announced the launch of the Netscape Netbusiness Magazine, a monthly online publication focusing on small business issues with content and community oriented features. The first issue, emailed to all registered Netbusiness users and located on the Netbusiness site, focused on issues surrounding employee hiring and retention for small businesses. Each month, Netbusiness Magazine will focus on a topic important to small businesses and will feature editorial content from Fortune Small Business (FSB) along with other Netbusiness partners. Relevant polls and message boards will also be accessible from the Magazine in addition to partner deals and promotions. The Magazine will be emailed to users monthly with content from past issues archived on the Netbusiness site. ``At Netbusiness we are always exploring ways to help give small business owners the tools and information they need to succeed,'' said Marcia Parker, director of programming for Netscape Netbusiness. ``The Netbusiness Magazine is yet another way we provide small businesses with top content, commerce and community-based resources targeted directly to their needs.'' The premier issue of the Magazine provides insight on employee hiring and retention. Entitled, ``Hire the Best, Keep the Best'', the issue includes relevant content and resources from FSB and Monster.com. The issue provides content and resources that aims to help users recruit, hire and retain top employees. As part of the partner deals aspect of Netscape Business, Netbusiness partner ADP, a provider of integrated payroll, HR and benefits administration, is offering small business owners a free 30-day trial of EasyHire, powered by Avert, a job applicant screening service.
