``Prima Tech has generated a significant brand identity in a short period. I'm excited about the transfer of the assets to Premier Press and the future of technical publishing. We will continue to publish great books, competitively priced, and focused on the same markets as in the recent past,'' stated Damon C. Davis, CEO of Premier Press, Inc.

Sams Technical Publishing, an imprint of 22nd Century, Inc., publishes books, catalogs, and technical information under several branded imprints. Prima Tech maintains an active list of approximately 200 titles in trade paperback and hardcover formats. Staff for Premier Press will continue to be based in Indianapolis. Distribution will be moved to the Sams Technical Publishing warehouse.

``All of us at Prima Tech are excited about the opportunity to work with Damon in launching Premier Press. We have great confidence in our product line and are thrilled that we will be able to continue it,'' said Stacy Hiquet, Publisher of Prima Tech.
