Freedom Technology Media Group Consolidates Operations in New York

Freedom Technology Media Group (FTMG) plans to consolidate all of its principal operations in their headquarters location in New York City, according to an announcement made by Freedom Magazines President Colin Ungaro on August 8, 2001. Circulation, production, and some technology and editorial functions will transition from FTMG's Malibu office over the next several months and the Malibu location will be closed. FTMG's San Francisco offices will remain open.

``Unifying our cross functional teams in one location helps us leverage economies of scale, strengthens our core competencies, and enables us to be faster and more responsive to the needs of our communities of interest with progressive, integrated media opportunities,'' Ungaro said.

FTMG's New York headquarters is already home to the Office of the President, the firm's senior management team, publishing, marketing, accounting, editorial, and sales. The company expects the transition to be complete in the next ninety days. FTMG is the publisher of CRM, Field Force Automation, Knowledge Management and Small Business Computing magazines along with their affiliate websites.
