In its new incarnation, BigWords.com has established affiliate relationships with online textbook retailers, and provides price and delivery information to college students. At BigWords.com students can check prices, connect, and buy their books at A1 Books, Amazon, BarnesAndNoble.com, BooksAMillion, Contentville, eCampus, Half.com, and textbookX.com. BigWords.com receives an affiliate commission from booksellers when students click through and buy. ``It's really very simple,'' said Bigger Words, Inc. President Jeff Sherwood. ``BigWords.com is the best way to buy textbooks. Our new site shows the customer the prices of their books at the best online textbook stores. We're no longer competing in the textbook marketplace. We're enabling the marketplace by making online shopping even easier than it already is.'' The BigWords.com website is owned and operated by Bigger Words, Inc., a privately held company located in San Francisco. The company is headed by Jeff Sherwood, an online web development veteran, who was a co-founder of the original BigWords, and who has assembled a team experienced in Internet marketing, operations, and management. The previous BigWords.com website and its online magazine The Big Word were closed in October, 2000.
