USAToday.com Launches New Email Newsletters

USAToday.com announced the launch of three new email newsletters -- Tech, Auto Track and Books -- and a redesigned version of its flagship email newsletter Daily Briefing. Readers can sign up for the newsletters at: email.USAToday.com.

``We are constantly looking for and implementing better ways to deliver to our readers the latest news and information, as well as expanded content,'' said Jeff Webber, senior vice president and publisher for USAToday.com. ``Building out our email offering is one more step in expanding the highest quality product around.''

The new suite of e-mail newsletters include:
  • Tech -- A daily email delivering the latest Hot Sites, Gadget Guides, Answer Desk, Tech stock news, and breaking Tech news every business day.
  • Books -- A weekly email including Hot Type, an original column written specifically for the newsletter by USAToday.com's Assistant Life Editor, Tara McKelvey, covering the latest book gossip. The newsletter also contains book excerpts and reviews, a link to USA TODAY's Top 150 Bestsellers list and the latest chapter from USAToday.com's Open Book series, a collection of original novellas. Distributed every Thursday.
  • Auto Track -- A weekly email including USA Today auto writer James Healey's Test Drive column with the latest auto reviews, top news from the automotive industry and everything else "Under the hood." Distributed every Friday.
The redesigned Daily Briefing now includes USAToday.com features, such as the site's bold colors, the daily Snapshot and a new multimedia area showcasing the latest news photos. Subscribers will continue to receive in each issue the top news from USAToday.com's News, Money, Sports, Life, Tech and Weather sections every business day.
