Information Today Acquires Online Magazine

Information Today, Inc. announced that it has acquired Online magazine from Online, Inc. Online magazine, now in its 25th year, publishes articles, reviews, news, and informed commentary for the electronic information community. Information Today is a publisher and conference organizer in the library and information industry. Some its titles include Information Today, Searcher, and Computers in Libraries.

Jeff Pemberton, Chairman of Online, Inc., said, ``We closed the sale of Online to Information Today with a great sense of accomplishment and confidence that the magazine is in good hands. Marydee Ojala, the editor of Online magazine, has agreed to remain as editor and will join the ITI editorial team under Dick Kaser, V.P. of Content. Ms. Ojala will also be working as a member of the conference programming team for ITI's numerous industry events.
