Ecookbooks.com Announces Affiliate Deal With Epicurious.com

Posted on October 31, 2001

Jessica's Biscuit, a catalog and internet-based company devoted to cookbooks, announced that it has entered into an affiliate relationship with Epicurious.com, a food-related website. Through this affiliate relationship, a bookstore has been created on the Epicurious website through which visitors to the Epicurious.com site can learn about certain featured cookbooks in the Jessica's Biscuit inventory of over 8,000 titles. They may also link to the Jessica's Biscuit ecookbooks.com website to purchase those books and/or browse through the entire Jessica's Biscuit inventory of cookbooks.

``We are thrilled to have established this relationship with Epicurious.com,'' said David Strymish, CEO of Jessica's Biscuit. ``The reputation of Epicurious.com, both in its own right and through its parent company Conde Nast Publications, precedes it,'' said Strymish, ``and we believe that this partnership between Jessica's Biscuit/ecookbooks.com and Epicurious.com is a natural one, combining the two leaders in their respective categories of the food world.''

``We are equally pleased to have entered this relationship with Jessica's Biscuit/ecookbooks.com,'' said Susan Rerat, Managing Director of Epicurious.com. ``Jessica's Biscuit has the largest and deepest cookbook inventory around, everything from the big blockbusters to obscure out-of-print titles, and we believe that by adding this cookbook store on Epicurious.com we are creating significant added value for our millions of visitors,'' added Rerat.

Jessica's Biscuit is a catalog and internet-based (ecookbooks.com) cookbook company. Jessica's Biscuit offers over 8,000 cookbook titles in its inventory. Biscuit Books, Inc., a publishing company, and New England Mobile Book Fair, a 44 year-old family-owned independent general bookstore in Newton, Massachusetts, are related companies of Jessica's Biscuit.
