Knit It Magazine Debuts

Knit It! is a new magazine collaboration between Better Homes and Gardens of Meredith Corporation and Lion Brand Yarn. Nationally distributed, Knit It! can be found at craft chains, and is also sold on newsstands. The first issue appeared on December 26, 2001 and the next issue will be available in the Fall of 2002.
Knit It! is a needlework magazine that is part magazine and and part manual. It contains a range of projects with smart designs, user-friendly patterns, and suggestions for working with ravishing colors, as well as knitting articles. "Knitting for the soul" and "The Craze to Cast On," are two articles that appear in the premier issue. Knit It! targets beginners to the craft as well as return knitters.
The magazine includes projects for fashions, accessories and home decor. Lion Brand yarns are featured throughout the magazine. Articles focus on knitters, knitting and the joy of the craft. A how-to section in the back presents simple, concise descriptions, with diagrams, of basic stitches.
