New Singles Magazine Called One2One Launches

Rocket scientist Mary Spio is launching One2One Magazine. The national magazine will profile professional singles each month, in addition to personal ads, movie/music/book/gadget/fashion reviews and feature articles. The website for the magazine features horoscopes, personal ads, chat, reviews and content from the magazine.

Statistics show that 89% percent of U.S. singles went on less than 5 dates in the past year. When Mary Spio, a 29-year-old African American Rocket Scientist heard that data, it became a personal turning point for her. "I've spent my life researching life in outer space, what about communications right here on earth? There are lives being wasted here, not finding each other -- not finding love," says Mary Spio.

A multi-faceted creative individual, Spio holds that having been a deep space communications expert prior to becoming a dating guru provides her with the ideal background. "The science of dating is every bit as difficult as the science of rocketry," she says. "And I believe I'm qualified to guide my readership through the proper strategies for ideal dating."

Mary points out, "The flawed approach to dating is 'waiting' for your Prince or Princess to suddenly appear or clicking online at the endless stream of Internet sites that don't screen their subscribers." She says the new magazine and site help "make sure that you don't end up with a frog."
